Material and care
Triple Screen Print: Crafted using three separate screens to create a rich, multi-dimensional print.
Rayon Spandex is a knit fabric blend made from regenerated cellulose fibers (rayon) and elastane fibers (spandex). Rayon provides breathability, softness, and moisture absorbency, while spandex adds stretch, shape retention, and flexibility. The fabric is lightweight, smooth, and drapes well, making it suitable for fitted or flowy styles.
- Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Use mild detergent. Do not bleach. Lay flat or hang to dry to prevent stretching; avoid high heat as it may damage fibers. If needed, use a cool iron. Hang dry.
Flat Rayon Material is a lightweight, breathable fabric with a smooth texture and gentle sheen. It drapes beautifully, making it ideal for flowy garments and warm-weather wear. The material is soft to the touch and comfortable against the skin, offering an elegant yet easygoing look.
- Care Instructions:Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach. Hang or lay flat to dry — do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat if needed, preferably on the reverse side to maintain the fabric’s smooth finish.
Design
Matagi 2.0 returns to the skies of The Voyagers, this time letting the Iwa lead. Where the original story found the Iwa navigating obstacles against the wind, this collection shifts the wind itself—the Iwa now rides Matagi's current, soaring with it rather than fighting it.
This is flight as trust, not struggle. The Iwa doesn't fight gravity or current—she reads them, banks into them, and lets them lift her. From altitude, the scattered islands, the changing seas, and the long route home all resolve into a single, legible map. What looked like obstacles from sea level become wind patterns to ride from above.
Matagi 2.0 is an evolution of perspective: the same voyage, the same uncertainty, but met with the ease of a bird who has learned the sky instead of struggling against it. It's surrender as skill—knowing when to bank, when to glide, when to let the wind do the work—and arrival not through force, but through alignment.
